About Me

I hold a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria. I have experience in rapid prototyping, manufacturing, medical devices, automation, electronics, and general mechanical design.

I currently work at Tesla where I am a Mechanical Design Engineer on the high voltage distribution team.

ACCURO TECHNOLOGIES
Lead Engineer
Lead engineer designing a patent pending intra-articular injection tool. Setup CNC in-house prototyping facility to create over 35 prototypes based on physician feedback and design constraints. Vendor selection and final design for manufacture at 100K+ units a year.

ZABER TECHNOLOGIES
Mechanical Engineering Co-op
Design and manufacture of an innovative flexure based positioning device with nano meter precision. Advancing manufacturing through material optimizations and in-house CNC prototyping.
2012
VACUUMSCHMELZE
Mechanical Engineering Co-op
Improved efficiency of automated glue assembly robots that produced magnetic cores. Travel to Slovakia to implement system at factory and increase throughput and reliability.
2016 - Current
TESLA
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Team member for high voltage distribution. Design of wiring systems, harnesses, adapters, and mechanical enclosures for power systems. Exposure to injection molding, die casting, forging, ultrasonic welding, robotic assembly, and more.

MOXER TECHNOLOGIES
Co-Founder
In charge of mechanical and electrical design of an automated vision measurement system. Designed embedded system drive circuity to drive multi-axis positioning system, 4K camera system, segmented lighting, innovative cast mineral base material, micron level  sealed positioning linear stages, and more.
2012 - 2013
KARDIUM
Mechanical Engineering Co-op
Design, manufacture, and programming of a custom automated laser welding machine used in a clean room. This system was used to make intricate stainless steel welds on a Class 3 medical device used in heart surgery to treat atrial fibrillation.
